Sometimes Bedtimes are the Best Times

It took a few extra days than I thought it would, but we finished our chores and were rewarded with busting open and setting up this INCREDIBLE D.I. find.  Bedtime tonight was also especially sweet...

I never thought I would do it...

New Year's Eve and Day

January 1st was simple and special.  Did dishes with the kids.  Listened to them play Legos together.  I had a nice jog on the treadmill and a shower!  Made a nice dinner that we enjoyed as a family and my Mami, with some sparkling cider too!  I made Chad a good lunch, we read scriptures and sent him off to work.  I helped the kids write in their journals, listened to them read the New Testament scripture stories book, and then read "Wherever you Are" to them.  Then I watched a movie with my Mom while we both did some crafts.  It was simple but nice.

I want this year to be more focused on family, order, and not getting distracted from what we really want to be accomplishing.  I hope I can have better focus on my kids and our family goals.  I know if we are trying, the progress will happen!

Before & After Family Living Space Photos

We bought this house 6 and 1/2 years ago. This last spring we finally truly made the first half of the downstairs our own. Here are the before & after pictures of the living room, play room & entry way. It might be overkill on the album pages, but it was a long time coming & we are so THANKFUL, so it's hard not to gush. And I'm the kind of person that wishes they could see what their folks' houses looked like and why... Anyway,  BIG SMILE! This part is DONE!

We're BAAAA-AAAAACK!!!

I am super excited about posting our family pictures again!  We have more and more family not using Facebook, so I'm trying to use something that's more accessible to everyone.  Check back soon for some family fun and updates!  I have a LOT of catching up to do, but that's good.  I love going through "old" pics, as in a few months or even a couple years, and seeing how much we've grown.  How far we've come.  Life is good and I'm grateful I can share that.

As you may have noticed, there has not been a post here for a while...

We definitely take LOTS of pictures, but sharing them tends to be the challenge.  I have too many blogs to keep up with.  As a mommy of 3 active kids, I now see time as more valuable than gold!  So, in hopes of using my time better I am officially eliminating this blog.  Sorry Blog!

I will use Facebook as a way of posting pictures and album pages.  It's been the most consisent method for me, so that's what it will be.  Of course, specific albums can be shared by email even if you aren't registered, so I know we can still stay in touch and you can still see our pictures.
